Alicia B. Hill

As the Operations & Team Engagement Manager at Groundswell, Alicia B. Hill draws on nearly two decades of writing, research, and website management experience to drive team engagement, operational excellence, and organizational alignment. Her deep background in communication and process optimization enables her to lead and support efforts to foster a collaborative culture, streamline workflows, and empower teams to excel in a rapidly evolving environment.

Before joining Groundswell, Alicia built a distinguished career as a journalist, reporting on politics, arts, and community issues for newspapers, magazines, and online outlets in Georgia and Alabama. Her award-winning work, recognized by the Georgia Press Association (2019) and the Associated Press (2018), reflects her commitment to thorough research, impactful storytelling, and effective communication — skills she now applies to enhance team cohesion and drive results in her current role. Alicia studied Communication at Berry College, where she contributed to multiple publications. She is also a graduate of the inaugural Kiwanis Amplify leadership program and Leadership Troup.

Outside work, Alicia enjoys time with her husband and son, hiking, taking too many pictures, and watching cheesy movies. She is a member of the Kiwanis Club of LaGrange and an Assistant Troop Leader for her son’s Scout Troop.
