    Groundswell is proud to partner with the Baltimore Office of Sustainability whose sustainability agenda focuses on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and social equity. The Baltimore Office of Sustainability actively works to address the challenges of population growth, climate change, and aging infrastructures to advance Baltimore as a dynamic city.

  • U.S. Department of Energy's Solar In Your Community Challenge

    Groundswell is proud to partner with U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy as they provide $5 million in grants and technical assistance to expand solar electricity access to all Americans. Focusing on underserved low and moderate income households, state, local, and tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations, the SunShot Prize: Solar in Your Community Challenge assists in the development of new and innovative financial business models that serve non-rooftop solar users, such as community solar.

  • DC Department of Energy and Environment's Solar For All

    Groundswell is proud to partner with the District of Columbia’s Department of Energy and Environment through the Solar for All Innovation and Expansion Grant program. Solar for All seeks to expand DC’s solar capacity, increase the amount to solar generated within the District, and provide the benefits of locally-generated solar energy to low income households, small businesses, nonprofits, and seniors.

  • U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Energy for Low Income Communities Accelerator

    Groundswell is proud to partner with U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy. Through the Clean Energy Low Income Accelerator program, low income households and communities can improve their energy efficiency through the installation of energy efficient and distributed renewables.

  • Energy Efficiency for All - Georgia

    Groundswell is proud to partner with Energy Efficiency for All Georgia. Blending expertise in affordable housing, energy efficiency, building ownership, and utility engagement, Energy Efficiency for All Georgia works with partners in 12 states to promote effective utility energy efficiency programs for affordable building owners and healthy, affordable housing for residents.

    Our Partnership: Groundswell and Sustainable Capital Advisors announced a partnership in 2016 to develop an innovative approach to community solar financing that takes consumer credit scores off the table as an obstacle working families previously had to overcome to join the clean energy economy. Learn More
