If you believe that you have been discriminated against with respect to a Groundswell’s program or activity, you may contact the Director of Operations identified above and follow the outlined grievance procedures below to file a complaint of discrimination.
DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINT – GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES
Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination on behalf of Groundswell, or any of its staff inclusive of the Chief Executive Officer should report the matter to the Director of Operations, Sara Owre – contact information listed above. The Director will work with the HR department – and the Groundswell Board of Directors if such an escalation is necessary – to investigate and address the issue. The complaint will be investigated, and appropriate corrective and disciplinary action will be taken to address any discrimination that has occurred. Employees of Groundswell and any external individuals who file a complaint are protected against any form of retaliation for raising good faith claims of discrimination.
