Giving Tuesday 2023

Did you know that the average low to moderate-income household in Georgia pays close to a fifth of its annual income for energy? Meanwhile, the energy burdens of low to moderate-income households in Washington, DC, are four times higher than those of their higher-earning neighbors. Groundswell programs like SharePower community solar and Save On Utilities Long term help low to moderate-income households save up to $500 a year by improving access to clean energy and addressing energy inefficiencies.

YOU can improve clean energy access and energy affordability in our communities by donating to Groundswell. Groundswell is a 501c3 nonprofit committed to building community power through equitable community solar projects, resilience centers, clean energy programs that reduce energy burdens, and pioneering research initiatives that help light the way to clean energy futures for all.

This #GivingTuesday, we hope to supercharge energy equity efforts in the communities we serve by raising $25,000 to support these efforts. If you are able, please consider donating $25 today to help us meet our goal and support energy equity and clean energy access in the communities we serve through our programs and research tools.
