On August 5 from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm, Groundswell Chief Financial Officer Emily Robichaux will discuss how organizations can build community power through solar and software in a session moderated by Alison Mason of Barrio Electrico. This session is part of the American Solar Energy Society’s first ever hybrid conference, taking place August 3-6 in Boulder, CO, at the University of Colorado Boulder and online through a hybrid platform.

During this session, Emily will join speakers in a discussion about how public policy plays an inevitable role in how and where solar is deployed. This session will investigate policy mechanisms and program models that support solar energy growth at the federal, state, and local levels. Topics of interest include community solar, LMI empowerment  and other program designs and policies, as discussed through various case studies.
