Greg Brueck-Cassoli is the Director of Fund Development at Groundswell. In his role, he leads Groundswell’s government, institutional, and individual fundraising efforts by tracking progress against annual goals, conducting funder cultivation and outreach, managing grant application and reporting timelines, and helping to set the organization’s overall development strategy. With more than ten years of experience working with nonprofits as a direct service provider, consultant, and grant writer, Greg is committed to ensuring organizations have the resources they need to deliver impactful programs.
Prior to joining the Groundswell team, Greg ran a grant writing and development consultancy, working with organizations whose focuses include youth empowerment, job training, nonprofit network building, and college re-engagement and persistence. He also worked as the Grants Manager for More Than Words, a social enterprise that empowers system-involved young people to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business.
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from Villanova University and a Master of Social Work degree from the Boston College School of Social Work. He is dedicated to building a world where people have the support they need to be themselves and pursue their passions — a commitment he attempts to reflect in his work, as a husband, and as a father.
