Rashad Williams

As Director of Product, Rashad Williams supports product strategy and roadmap execution for Groundswell’s innovative technology and data platform. He works closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

Previously, he led initiatives focused on subscriber management, solar developer partnerships, and regulatory compliance across local energy markets. Rashad also served on the Board of Directors at Out for Sustainability.

Before joining Groundswell, Rashad worked as a Development and Communications Associate at Atlanta Legal Aid Society. In this role, he managed donor relationships, coordinated public relations efforts, and supported communications initiatives that highlighted community impact and engagement.

A native of Atlanta’s south side, Rashad attended Georgia State University, earning a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor’s in sociology. Rashad enjoys reading a good book, discovering new ways to stay active, and traversing the DC food scene.
