Carrie Vance is the Community Solar Program Manager at Groundswell, where she works with utilities, local governments, developers, and community organizations to expand access to affordable clean energy. She supports business development, secures grant funding, and advances innovative strategies that increase the impact of community solar and energy affordability programs.

Before joining Groundswell, Carrie built her expertise in the energy sector through roles at Duke Energy, where she focused on utility-scale solar project management, and at Renewables Forward, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the renewable energy industry.

Carrie earned both an MBA and an MA in Global Environmental Policy from American University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Shenandoah University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED Green Associate.
