Aryana Sutton works with Groundswell’s Subscriber Management Services team to oversee the entire lifecycle for Groundswell’s community solar subscribers in Maryland and DC. She develops community engagement processes for customers and partners, subscriber acquisition and retention, data management, and reporting for Groundswell’s various community solar projects. Additionally, Aryana leads customer support efforts for Spanish-speaking SharePower subscribers while serving subscribers through Groundswell's Customer Support Center, ensuring our services are widely accessible.

Aryana graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a concentration in Global Health and Environment, a minor in Sustainability, and a graduate certification in Nonprofit and Community Leadership. Outside the classroom, Aryana was a member of her university’s Sustainability Activation Program, where she helped educate students on how to lead more sustainable lifestyles. She also co-founded the University of Dayton’s Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Inc. — a Latinx-oriented organization that helps create a sense of belonging and representation for Latinx and other minority students on campus. As a founder and community service chair, Aryana enjoyed getting out into the community, planning events, building connections among students, and creating opportunities to serve the Dayton community and promote cultural awareness on campus.

With this background of studying and working in diverse communities, Aryana has relished how her role at Groundswell allows her to combine her passions for sustainability, social justice, and equity to help others and contribute to a more inclusive and accessible clean energy movement. Outside work, she enjoys playing golf and volleyball, being outdoors, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
