DC DOEE Celebrates the Start of Summer

Celebrate the first weekend of summer by going solar through DOEE’s Solar for All program! There is no cost to enroll in for Solar for All and participants can expect to save up $500 annually on their electric bill. You do not need to be a home-owner or live in a single-family home to apply. Any District resident who pays an electric bill and meets the income guidelines can go solar and reduce their electricity costs through Solar for All's community solar program.

On Friday, June 18 DOEE will have tabling sites across the District where Washingtonians can complete and submit an application. Visit doee.dc.gov/solarforall for up-to-date tabling locations. Please bring a copy of a recent Pepco bill and a photo ID.

Over 3,500 District residents have already become community solar subscribers and saved on their electricity bills through Solar for AllDOEE needs your help to increase that number and reduce the District’s use of fossil fuels. Ready to go solar today? You can also apply online at any time at doee.dc.gov/solarforall. For application assistance, please call the Solar for All Hotline at (202)299-5271 or email [email protected].
