Andrew Robison is the Director of Southeast Regional Market Development at Groundswell. He is responsible for working with local partners across the Southeastern US to develop community-driven program and project development strategies, focusing particularly on small, rural, underserved, and under-resourced communities.

Before joining the Groundswell team, Andrew was the program manager at the Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute — a nonprofit, statewide organization focusing on advancing equitable solutions for affordable, reliable, and clean energy for all Texans. In this role, Andrew led a portfolio of clean energy projects in South Texas, aiming to help address long-lasting energy equity concerns in the region. Andrew was also instrumental in helping to build coalitions of community and local government stakeholders across the state, including the incorporation of Texas border communities into a statewide coalition that was awarded $249 million as part of EPA’s Solar for All funding opportunity.

Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Global Policy Studies with a concentration in energy and environmental policy from the University of Texas at Austin. Andrew also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and International Business from the University of Georgia. In his spare time, you can find Andrew searching for the best sandwich in Atlanta.
