Through our partnership with the DC Sustainable Energy Utility (DC SEU), Groundswell is managing the DC Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. 

This initiative seeks to improve the comfort, safety and energy efficiency of D.C. homes and to support local businesses that perform this work.

The program is part of the national Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy.

As part of this opportunity, D.C. is offering financing and financial incentives to qualified homeowners. 

To reach D.C. families who would benefit the most from reducing their monthly energy costs, DC Home Performance also includes a Forgivable Loan Fund for Low-Income Residents.
